Directions from Your House to Shell Knob, Missouri
Shell Knob, Missouri is located in the southwestern corner of Missouri. It is south of Mount Vernon (a city on Interstate 44) by about an hour. Whether you are coming from the east or the west, we strongly recommend you STAY ON I-44 AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. From I-44, take exit 46 south (exits says MO-265/MO-39). Stay on MO-39 as it goes through the town of Aurora. Continue south on MO-39 until a mile north of Shell Knob.
Directions to Camp Table Rock
About a mile north of Shell Knob look for a (now abandoned) Sinclair gas station on the east and the Central Crossing Fire District Building on the west. There will also be a big Fun in the Son – Camp Table Rock sign in front of the gas station. Turn east on Lake Road 39-4 (it may be labeled FR1245) right in front of the gas station. (This will be a right turn if you are coming from the south or a left turn if you are coming from the north.) Follow the Fun in the Son – Camp Table Rock signs. It is a curvy 11 miles from Highway 39! Remember that if you stay on the black top road and look for the signs, you should be fine.
